This historically significant late-1800’s home in Cambridge was purchased by a large family who loves to entertain. Their goal was to have an elegant home that welcomed both casual everyday life and formal entertainment. Many of the home’s original features were maintained, such as the fireplaces with their stunning surrounds and the stained-glass transom windows in the Sitting Room. The entire color story was informed by the vibrant Cadet Blue used in the formal Dining Room that directs the transition through the quieter colors of the rest of the main floor and up the stairs. On the lower level, the game room features eye-popping Merlot walls offset by the wood of the professional pool table for a club-like feel.
