Located on Providence’s historic East Side, Taylor Interior Design, Inc.
was established in 1967 by its principal and owner Nancy Taylor. Nancy
is an Allied Member of ASID and in 2008 was inducted into the New England
Design Hall of Fame. With forty years in the field, Nancy leads an experienced
team of highly qualified design professionals and support staff specializing in
high end residential and commercial interiors throughout the country.

We stand by a philosophy of timeless, sophisticated design that reflects the Client’s point of view. Our goal on every project is to achieve a level
of design that has at least twenty years of visual and tactile comfort.

Our reputation for lasting and elegant design is complemented by our organizational skills, business relationships, and fiscal responsibility.

Estimates are accurate, product is carefully monitored, and Clients are kept fully informed until the very last detail is complete. The result of our four
decades of service is a large, loyal client base willing to speak of their positive experience with our firm.

BIOGRAPHIES

Nancy Taylor
Design Principal / Owner

Nancy Taylor founded the firm in 1967 after completing studies in Interior
Design at the Rhode Island School of Design. She has created and
implemented systems of execution that exceed most in the industry. Nancy
is a member of ASID and was inducted into the New England Design Hall of
Fame in 2008. Her work has been featured in countless design publications
over the span of her career. Nancy was also the proprietor of 125 Benefit
Street Antiques until its closing in 2002.

 

Courtney Taylor
Senior Design Associate

Courtney holds a BFA from Parsons School of Design. After several years in
the apparel industry, in 1998 she joined Taylor Interior Design to run its antique
business which included overseas buying trips, importing and sales. Courtney
has been a full time interior designer responsible for design, specifying, client
relationships and complete project management of multiple projects of her own
and for the firm. She has worked extensively across the country and in the
Bahamas.

 

Pamela Burdon
Project Manager / Office Manager

Pam joined Taylor Interior Design in 1995 while attending Rhode Island
School of Design for Computer Graphics and Interior Design. She is well
versed and experienced in all aspects of interior design, project management,
working as a design assistant, specifying, purchasing and expediting product
and completing installations.

 

Jenny Arena
Project Manager / CAD Designer

Jenny holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Wentworth Institute
of Technology. She also is proficient in AutoCAD and handles the majority of
the firm’s drawings. Jenny is a skilled project manager with 5 years of
experience in the industry.
